Know what’s right. Know why.

An exception-first command center for the close: what is complete, what is blocked, what does not reconcile, and what needs your sign-off today.

The Controller’s question

Are the books accurate, complete, reconciled and ready to close?

The command center starts from what needs resolving today, not from a dashboard of results.

PredictLine Controller command center showing close readiness, reconciliations, journal entries and a priority queue
The Controller command center. Sample data from the PredictLine test environment, not a customer.
Exception first

A priority queue, not a pile of reports.

Failed postings, accounts that do not reconcile, overdue work, entries awaiting review and uninvoiced receipts are ranked by severity, amount, age and whether they block the close. Each item gives a suggested next step and opens the screen where you fix it. Nothing is posted from the queue.

An explainable score

Readiness is not a task count.

Reconciliations count double because they carry more risk. Large variances and accruals count too. The score stays under 100% while any close gate you have set is still open, and the screen shows exactly what makes it up.

What it covers

Eight areas, with an honest status for each.

Where a capability is partly built, the page says so.

01

Close readiness and timeline

In the product

A readiness score from weighted tasks, reconciliations, variances and accruals, held back while a close gate you set is open. Plus a projected finish date against your target and who has what.

02

Reconciliation and certification

In the product

Every balance-sheet account with an owner, a reviewer, a due date and a status. Weekly checkpoints surface problems during the month. Sign-off, evidence and escalation are built in.

03

Journal entries and accruals

In the product

Proposed, approved, posted and failed entries in one view, with age and amount. Suggested accruals, prepaid amortization and recurring entries that are due but not yet proposed.

04

Subledger and transaction exceptions

Partly built

Goods received but not billed, possible duplicate payables and bank transactions awaiting review. Inventory and intercompany subledger-to-ledger checks are not built yet.

05

Controls and audit readiness

In the product

A controls matrix with owners, test results, deficiencies and remediation dates. Entries approved by the person who prepared them are flagged as a segregation-of-duties exception.

06

Can you trust the numbers

In the product

Tie-out of pulled transactions to the balances your system reports, data freshness per connection, and an alert when a refresh keeps failing.

07

Intercompany and FX

Partly built

Multi-entity consolidation and transaction-level foreign exchange are built. Automatic detection of intercompany differences between entities is not built yet.

08

Controlled AI investigation

In the product

AI can investigate and propose a correction. It cannot post one. Approval is a separate, human-only step, and every action is logged.
